California Child Care Course

This California Child Care Course is comprised of the following two classes totaling fifteen hours. This class is designed for current and prospective daycare providers. It meets the criteria set forth by Community Care Licensing and the state EMSA.

Pediatric CPR & First Aid

This 8 hour course is part one of a two part course required for individuals who are becoming licensed daycare providers. This course teaches individuals to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies, pediatric first aid and injury prevention. $75.00 fee includes class textbooks and 2 laminated skills cards. This class meets CA EMSA requirements of daycare providers.

Preventative Health & Safety

This 7 hour course is part two of a two part course required for individuals who are becoming licensed daycare providers. This course provides training for daycare providers about creating and maintaining immunization records, preventing infectious diseases and how to care for ill children in the child care setting. Upon verification of completion of this course participants will receive their certificate by mail with state EMSA approved sticker.
